A very good saying to emulate.
This can be put in a different way
also like this,

"Perfection in the work, would bring pleasure unto us"

I have seen many people, even quite seniors,
doing their office or other jobs grudgingly
without any satisfaction or pleasure.

This is true right from in case of the house maids to white
collared job holders. A house maid does
all the household work at the behest of her
mistress, gets many concessions pleading
her problems. But, she does the work grudgingly inside,
cursing her fate which has made her to do such a job,
even though, practically there are no better prospects
for her which even she herself knows.

Same way, many office goers are not satisfied with their
jobs. Many a times they curse their fate for not
getting a better job. They go on criticizing their
employers, for not offering them better amenities,
without giving any thought to employers genuine
constraints. They simply forget that this job has
found them a livelihood and been supporting their family.

Although it is not bad or wrong to try for a better job,
it is very much necessary and desirable to do the job
on hand with dedication, diligence and perfection. This
will get the person concerned job satisfaction, and
consequent immense pleasure and mental peace,
which will definitely make himself and his family to
lead a happy life.
